About Accessible & Specialized Transportation
STS will make accessible or specialized transportation arrangements for students who have been identified and approved by the School Board.
STS is supportive of integrated student transportation for all students where it is safe and practical to do so. Identified and approved students may be transported on specialized school purpose vehicles or on traditional full-size school busses when appropriate, practical and more suitable to the student’s needs.

Annual Application Process
To schedule bus service more effectively for students, STS has an annual mandatory registration process for students whose School Board identifies is eligible for Accessible and Specialized Transportation.
- The School Board must identify and approve the student for Accessible and Specialized Transportation
- Families must apply every year
