What is a “Charter”?

Southwestern Ontario Student Transportation Services provides administrative support for schools to facilitate the arrangement of charter bus service for athletics and/or field trips.  STS selects service providers who are authorized to do so and meet the requirements of the Vendor of Record. 

The administrative guidelines apply to all schools in the London District Catholic School Board and the Thames Valley District School Board who require bus service for the purpose of athletics and/or field trips.

All schools and school staff are required to use the e-booking software provided by STS for the purpose of requesting school bus service for athletics and/or field trips.  Schools and school staff are not permitted to make private inquiries or arrangements with bus companies directly.
